I have been working with dyslexic children and adults for over 30 years. I strongly believe that people with dyslexia can be successful; they just need teachers and employers who understand them, believe in them and know how to help them. With appropriate assessment and support the sky’s the limit!

I can assess children, teenagers and adults who have concerns about their learning. It can be beneficial at University for students to be diagnosed, especially as they then become eligible for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). It can also be helpful for adults in the  workplace to enable their employers to understand their needs and make appropriate adjustments.

I have been a primary school teacher, a Senco and an advisory teacher. I currently run my own Educational Consultancy Service offering advice to parents and diagnostic assessments for Specific Learning Difficulties. I am also an accredited assessor for the British Dyslexia Association. I constantly update my knowledge by attending Continuing Professional Development courses.
